Blessing

Lillyan was blessed by her dad in church today. It was very special, we were lucky to have our families and friends there to share it with us. Lilly is one lucky little girl to have a dad that cares so much for her and takes care of both her and I.      

My mom made Lilly these precious shoes. I am in love with them. We added the two charms to the shoes to make them extra special. They are actually my mom’s great grandmothers earrings and this was her broach that went with them. So Lilly was wearing her great-great-great grandma’s earrings and I wore the broach. I love them.

It was a great blessing and a great day spent with our families. Lillyan you are so loved.

Happy Birthday G-Ma

    My mom’s mom, Grandma Elmo, had her 70th Birthday! We all celebrated with a surprise birthday party at my aunt Jenny’s house. It was a lot of fun getting together with the family and we really shocked my Grandma.Emily bringing her into the house, still recovering from the surprise.Jenny had this cake made with her picture on it. When we ate it we all ate around the face, just seemed mean to eat someone's face I guess. Dad, Jodie, and Jamie hogging the couch Here is a four generation photo. Photo booth Fun

Brie got married! Check out her blog here, she is amazing. We went to her wedding last night and it was marvelous. She looked so beautiful. I totally cried when she walked down the aisle, when her and Greg(Kiwi) had their first dance, and when she danced with her dad. I love weddings.

One really fun thing at her wedding was that she had a photo booth for the guests. The photos you took were put into a really cute guest book that you could sign. We had a little bit too much fun with the mustache props.

Congrats Brie and Kiwi! We are so happy you found one another! Love ya

 

Halloween with the Goodman’s

Here is Ghost Lilly, Batman Crew, Ballerina Princess Marlee, Rockstar Madisen, Vampire Fireman Koye, and Grandma Braelyn. The kids had so much fun dressing up and going to the Halloween Carnival.

I looked drugged in this picture, Brent looks really cute, and Lilly is scratching her eye out like always.

When we brought Lilly home we did not realize how swollen her poor little face was. Looking back at this first photo of her first week and photos of her now, we could see how much her face changed.

Here she is right after bath time, she does not love her sponge baths. I can’t wait until her umbilical cord falls off so she can take a real bath.

 

Apparently I take a lot of photos of her, it’s hard not to!

 

Oh, and here is proof that she does not always like to have her picture taken and flowers put on her head. Sorry baby.
